El élder Ronald A. Rasband, del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, habló sobre la importancia de las palabras. Invitó a los oyentes a considerar las palabras de Dios, las palabras de sus profetas y nuestras propias palabras.

Hablando de la doctrina de Cristo, el élder Dale G. Renlund, del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, explicó que se trata de un ciclo virtuoso y poderoso.

“Conforme ejercemos la fe en Jesucristo y Su Expiación, somos impulsados por la senda de los convenios y motivados a ayudar a otros a llegar a ser fieles discípulos de Jesucristo”.

El élder Patrick Kearon, del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, describió cómo la intención de Dios es que Sus hijos decidan regresar a casa: “Dios los busca de manera incesante”.

La presidenta general de la Primaria, Susan H. Porter, se basó en la canción para niños “Oración de un niño”, que también fue cantada en la sesión por el Coro del Tabernáculo en la Manzana del Templo.

“Exprésenle al Padre Celestial lo que hay en su corazón. A medida que le pidan sinceramente Su ayuda, recibirán Su Espíritu para guiarlos”.

Ella invitó a los niños a orar para saber que el Padre Celestial está ahí, a orar para crecer y llegar a ser como Él y a orar para mostrar Su amor a los demás.

También hablaron el élder Paul B. Pieper y el élder Brian K. Taylor, ambos Setentas Autoridades Generales.

El presidente Henry B. Eyring, segundo consejero de la Primera Presidencia, dirigió la reunión. La oración de apertura estuvo a cargo del élder Vaiangina Sikahema y la oración de clausura estuvo a cargo del élder Adrián Ochoa, ambos Setenta Autoridades Generales.
