Tres miembros del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles hablaron en la sesión del domingo por la tarde.
El élder D. Todd Christofferson habló sobre los tres reinos de gloria y lo que significa ser valiente en el testimonio de Jesucristo.
“Ser valiente en el testimonio de Jesús significa animar a otras personas, mediante la palabra y el ejemplo, a ser igualmente valientes; en especial a los de nuestra propia familia”, dijo.
El élder Neil L. Andersen habló sobre el poder y las bendiciones de la obra y los convenios del templo.
“Mis amados amigos, si somos capaces y aún no hemos aumentado nuestra asistencia al templo, busquemos con regularidad más tiempo para adorar en la Casa del Señor”, dijo.
El élder Gary E. Stevenson comparó los dos grandes mandamientos de Jesús, “amar al Señor” y “amar al prójimo”, con las dos torres de un puente.
“cuando pasen por un majestuoso puente colgante, o cuando lo vean en una fotografía, con sus torres prominentes, los invito a recordar los dos grandes mandamientos que Jesucristo describió en el Nuevo Testamento”, dijo.
También hablaron el élder Taylor G. Godoy y el élder Mathias Held, ambos Setentas Autoridades Generales, y el presidente Mark L. Pace, quien concluirá su servicio como presidente de la presidencia general de la Escuela Dominical el 1° de agosto.
La primera oración estuvo a cargo del élder Carlos G. Revillo, Setenta Autoridad General, y la última oración estuvo a cargo de la hermana Amy A. Wright, primera consejera de la Presidencia General de la Primaria. El élder Quentin L. Cook, miembro del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, dirigió la reunión.
La música estuvo a cargo del Coro del Tabernáculo de la Manzana del Templo.
