En sus comentarios, el presidente M. Russell Ballard habló sobre las cosas que más importan: las relaciones con el Padre Celestial y Jesucristo, las relaciones con la familia y los amigos, seguir las impresiones del Espíritu y servir al Señor.
“Los invito a compartir su testimonio de Jesucristo con más frecuencia”, dijo el presidente Ballard.
El élder David A. Bednar, del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, dijo que Jesucristo invita a todos a permanecer en Él. Esto significa tomar sobre sí mismo Su yugo a través de convenios y ordenanzas, fortalecer el vínculo del convenio con el Padre y el Hijo, deleitarse en las palabras de Cristo, prepararse para participar en la Santa Cena y servir a los hijos de Dios.
“Permanecemos en Cristo mientras somos firmes y constantes en nuestra devoción al Redentor y Sus santos propósitos, tanto en los tiempos buenos como en los malos”, dijo el élder Bednar.
La sesión fue dirigida por presidente Henry B. Eyring, segundo consejero de la Primera Presidencia y las oraciones fueron ofrecidas por el élder John A. McCune y el élder Adeyinka A. Ojediran, Setentas Sutoridades Generales. La música estuvo a cargo del Coro del Tabernáculo en la Manzana del Templo bajo la dirección de Mack Wilberg y Ryan Murphy, con Brian Mathias al órgano.
