“Solo en Jesucristo podemos llegar a ser uno en verdad”, dijo. “El “revest[irnos]” “de Cristo” hace posible que resolvamos las diferencias, los desacuerdos y las disputas, o bien que los dejemos a un lado”.
“A medida que ustedes, con esmero, se concentran en pensar en Jesucristo, confían en Él y guardan Sus mandamientos, les prometo no solo guía celestial, sino poder celestial”, dijo el élder Andersen.
La música fue interpretada por el Coro del Tabernáculo de la Manzana del Templo (en inglés), dirigido por Mack Wilberg, con los organistas Andrew Unsworth y Richard Elliott. Las selecciones fueron “Glorias cantad a Dios”, “Vive mi Señor”, “Secreta oración”, “Guide Us, O Thou Great Jehovah” [Guíanos, oh tú, gran Jehová], “This Is the Christ” [Este es el Cristo] y “Creo en Cristo”.
