Como último orador de la primera sesión de la conferencia general de abril de 2023, el presidente Henry B. Eyring, segundo consejero de la Primera Presidencia, enseñó sobre el milagro de encontrar la paz personal por medio del Salvador.
“El don de la paz se otorga después de que tengamos fe para guardar Sus mandamientos”, dijo el presidente Eyring. Sin embargo, guardar los mandamientos del Señor requiere amar a Dios. “Ruego que hallen paz, que ayuden a los demás a hallarla y que la transmitan”.

Durante su sexto discurso en una conferencia general, la presidenta general de las Mujeres Jóvenes, Bonnie H. Cordon alentó a los oyentes a acercarse más al Salvador, Jesucristo. “Busquen a Cristo en todas partes ― ¡Les prometo que Él está allí!”
En su discurso, el élder Quentin L. Cook del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles, enseñó la doctrina del recogimiento de Israel e invitó a todos a repasar el consejo del presidente Russell M. Nelson sobre cómo ayudar en esta obra.
El élder Gary E. Stevenson del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles habló en detalle sobre la historia de la Pascua que se encuentra en 3 Nefi. “El Libro de Mormón comparte el relato más grandioso de la Pascua de Resurrección jamás contado. Ruego que no sea el relato más grandioso de la Pascua de Resurrección que nunca se contó”.

Dijo el élder Gerrit W. Gong del Cuórum de los Doce Apóstoles que, dondequiera que va, aprende con gratitud de aquellos que ministran y cuidan de otros como lo haría el Salvador. “Al ministrar como Él lo haría, testificamos de Sus bendiciones y milagros”.
El élder Carl B. Cook de la Presidencia de los Setenta, enseñó que Dios ayudará a las personas a superar el desánimo y otros obstáculos si “si lo buscamos a Él, seguimos los susurros del Espíritu Santo y simplemente seguimos adelante, con fe”.
Seguir al profeta elegido de Dios nos conduce hacia la seguridad y fortaleza, enseñó el élder Allen D. Haynie, Setenta Autoridad General.
La música estuvo a cargo del Coro del Tabernáculo de la Manzana del Templo bajo la dirección de Mack Wilberg y Ryan y Murphy, acompañados por los organistas Richard Elliott y Brian Mathias.
